Some General Information About

Project Big Bend 2012

 

Mission Camp / Mission Project

Adult and student volunteers from local churches

will partner together to paint and repair homes

 

June 11-15, 2012

 

Ways for your church to be directly involved in this mission project

1. Churches to bring lunch to a work crew Monday - Friday, or even part of the week

2. Students to participate in the PBB mission camp

3. Adult chaperones to participate in the PBB mission camp: help work in the day, chaperone at night

4. Adult volunteers to work during the daytime only repairing and painting homes and doing lawnwork

5. Adults to help knock on doors in the neighborhood and meet neighbors near the work site

6. Adult volunteers with special skills in carpentry, landscaping, etc.

 

Results from past years

There were over 100 volunteers working on about 10 homes each year during our 2010 and 2011 Project Big Bend.
