Inter-Mission with David
Thanks to the pastors with whom I have visited these past two weeks! It is my goal to visit with each of our 56 pastors before the end of August. This is for the purpose of listening to them concerning how our Association might best aid their church to accomplish their stated mission. Thank you Pastors, it has been wonderful, and will definitely help us as we begin to operate under our new organizational structure. We have a wonderfully bright future before us.

Last Minute Opportunity Disaster Relief Outreach in Southwood The Florida Baptist Association has been selected by Southwood to participate in their Annual 4th of July Events. We will be distributing water and providing information concerning disaster relief and receiving donations to help aid Disaster Relief in Capitola due to a to a tornado earlier this spring. We will need volunteers for both the morning and evening events. If you would like to volunteer please contact Mark Prasek at 297-1056 or the Florida Baptist Association for more information.
Children's Home News You’re invited to our ribbon cutting! Join us on Monday, July 28th, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., as we cut the ribbon and officially open The York Cottage at Florida Baptist Children’s Home, 8415 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee. Come casually dressed. Come enjoy cookies and light refreshments. Come see what God has done in the lives of the boys and girls we serve here, and the beautiful home in which we will be able to serve countless others in the years to come, thanks to the generosity of Roy & Mary York.
