Sean McMahon is passionate about serving pastors and churches. With more than 40 years of ministry experience as a pastor, administrator, age-level, and education specialist, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the leadership of the Florida Baptist Association.

Sean's leadership has been recognized on both the state and national levels, having served as the President of the Florida Baptist Conference of Associational Leaders, and Chairman of the Executive Team for the Southern Baptist Conference of the Associational Leaders. He has much experience as a church health analyst and church assessment specialist, working with churches in multiple states, including assisting other Associations. He is also certified in coaching, conflict mediation and peacemaking.

Sean came to the FBA from Fort Walton Beach, FL in July 2011. A native of Marceline, Missouri, he is a graduate of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and the University of Central Missouri. He and his wife, Fairra, are the proud parents of four daughters - Heather (Kyle), Andi (Clay), Liz (Silis), and Kimberly - and two grandsons.
